The Tiburon Gloves

The Tiburon Gloves: Fingerless Gloves Crochet Pattern | She's Got the Notion

I'm excited to announce my latest crochet pattern: The Tiburon Gloves. These fingerless gloves are customizable to suit your preferences. It has a shorter cuff option that is perfect to wear with a watch and a longer cuff option that will add warmth. There is also instructions for the button tab and scallop edging included with the pattern that can be added onto either length option. The fingerless gloves are great on their own as hand warmers or can be worn over gloves for an extra layer of warmth. These mitts are perfect for men or women to wear.

The Tiburon Gloves: Fingerless Gloves Crochet Pattern | She's Got the Notion

I developed this pattern a year ago to make and give as Christmas presents for guys. It went over very well. This was huge for me as it's a bit harder to make things for males. I made a pair for my dad and my mom emailed me a couple weeks later asking for the pattern. My dad was wearing them so much she wanted to make another pair for him to wear while his were in the wash. I call that a win!

I decided I wanted to share this pattern for others to use and develop it into something that is customizable and would work as a gift for anyone.

If you've been a long-time reader of my blog, you know that I've posted several crochet patterns for free on my blog before. The decision I made to sell this particular pattern instead of posting it on my blog was a difficult one. I spent hours working on it, tweaking it, and trying to make it something crocheters of all skill levels could use. In the past, I felt like the crochet patterns I posted were very simple and straightforward and I didn't feel like they were the caliber of crochet pattern I'd want to sell.

This pattern, however, felt different. It is something I feel proud of and I feel like it's worthy to be my first crochet pattern I sell. I spend a lot of time working on creative projects to be able to share with my readers and I'd really like my blog to become a more sizable source of my income in the future. The decision to start selling to create more income would allow me to post more regularly and share more projects with you. So if you do decide to purchase it, I really am so grateful.

I also want to announce a holiday gift to the readers of my blog--use code "sgtnreader2016" for 50% off the crochet pattern from my Ravelry shop or my Etsy store. This offer expires 11:59PM PST on December 31, 2016.

Thank you so much for your readership and your support. If you do end up making these gloves, please consider leaving a review on Etsy or Ravelry for the gloves. I'd really appreciate it!

Happy Crocheting!
