My all time favorite cookies are chocolate chip and peanut butter, so this was a dream come true. I could get the texture of chocolate chip cookies with a hint of tasty peanut butter. There were other varieties of these filled morsels, but this one won my heart. Now if only it could be dark chocolate. Then it would be perfect.\n\u003Cbr\u003E\n\u003Cbr\u003E\nOk, ready for the recipe? You will need the following:\n\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003Ewide mouth 1-quart jar\n\u003Cli\u003E1 3\/4 cups all-purpose flour\n\u003Cli\u003E3\/4 teaspoon baking soda\n\u003Cli\u003E3\/4 teaspoon salt\n\u003Cli\u003E9 ounces bag NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® DelightFulls Peanut Butter Filled Morsels\n\u003Cli\u003E3\/4 cup packed brown sugar\n\u003Cli\u003E1\/2 cup granulated sugar\n\n\n\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E\n\u003Col\u003E\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\n\u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/photobucket.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003E\u003Cimg src=\"http:\/\/i100.photobucket.com\/albums\/m36\/shesgotthenotion\/Tutorials\/PB%20Cookies%20in%20a%20Jar\/pbjar2_zps8f5794a7.jpg\" width=\"400\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Peanut Butter Filled Chocolate Chip Cookies In a Jar | She's Got the Notion\"\/\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\n\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Ci\u003EI used a soup spoon purchased at an Asian grocery to pack down the layers\u003C\/i\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Cbr\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EIn a small bowl, mix together flour, baking soda, and salt. Spoon mixture into jar, pressing down firmly.\n\u003Ccenter\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E\n\u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/photobucket.com\/\" target=\"_blank\"\u003E\u003Cimg src=\"http:\/\/i100.photobucket.com\/albums\/m36\/shesgotthenotion\/Tutorials\/PB%20Cookies%20in%20a%20Jar\/pbjar3_zps35e7b6b3.jpg\" width=\"400\" border=\"0\" alt=\"Peanut Butter Filled Chocolate Chip Cookies In a Jar | She's Got the Notion\"\/\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\n\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Ci\u003ENote: The recipe on the back of the peanut butter filled morsels calls for less morsels than the original recipe. To keep with these proportions, I reserved a heaping 1\/4 cup for \u003Cstrike\u003Elater use\u003C\/strike\u003E snacking.\u003C\/i\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Cbr\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EAdd the Peanut Butter Filled Morsels layer. Press down gently with spoon.\n\u003Cli\u003EAdd the brown sugar layer and press down firmly.\n\u003Cli\u003EAdd the granulated sugar layer and press down firmly.\n\u003C\/ol\u003E\n\u003Cbr\u003E\nYou will need to include the following instructions:\n\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E\nPREHEAT oven to 375° F. Beat 3\/4 cup (1 1\/2 sticks) softened butter or margarine, 1 large egg and 3\/4 teaspoon vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until blended. Add cookie mix and 1\/2 cup chopped nuts (optional); mix well, breaking up any clumps. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely. These fleece ear warmers are cozy and perfect for running and other outdoor activities in the wintertime. They keep your ears warm while still being able to wear your ear buds to listen to music. And if you have long hair, it doesn't get in the way of your ponytail. It can be a perfect last minute gift too as you can sew up a few of these in less than an hour. I've made two different versions of these: straight-edged and scalloped. The straight-edged ear warmer is very quick and easy and would make great gifts for guys. The scalloped-edge ear warmer takes a bit more time and work, but I think the results are well worth it. I decided to jump onto the trend with my own version. It is an easy jewelry project even if you're a beginner. I had every intention of going to Michael's buying something new that inspired me, but it's been raining pretty heavily here in California and not weather I felt like driving in. Luckily I had everything I needed to be inspired in my own jewelry making supplies. This makes this a perfect rainy day project. I wore tested it around for a couple days too and it's actually quite comfortable and even forgot I was wearing it. All you need for this project is some chain and jump rings. I used small metal chain, but you could you use thicker chain for a different look.\n\u003Cbr\u003E\n\u003Cbr\u003E\n\u003Cbr\u003E\n\u003Cb\u003EMATERIALS\u003C\/b\u003E\n\u003Cbr\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003Echain\n\u003Cli\u003Ejump rings (I used 1\/8\" and 1\/4\")\n\u003Cli\u003Eclasp\n\u003Cli\u003Ejewelry pliers\n\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E\n\u003Ci\u003E\nNOTE: It helps when doing this project if you lay out the piece as shown in the picture above and the photo steps below while working on it. \u003C\/i\u003E\n\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E\n\u003Cb\u003EINSTRUCTIONS\u003C\/b\u003E\n\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Ci\u003E\n\u003Cbr\u003EThe instructions start on the jump ring in the lower left hand corner, and moves counter-clockwise to the top.\u003C\/i\u003E\n\u003Col\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EOpen a large jump ring (#1). Cut \u0026 add to your jump ring chain in the following lengths: 1.5\", 4\", 3.5\", 3\", 2.75\", 3\". Close the jump ring.\n\u003Cli\u003EOpen another larger jump ring (#2). Attach it to the end of the 3\" chain you added last in the previous step. Cut \u0026 add to the jump ring chain measuring 0.75\" and 1.5\". Close the jump ring.\n\u003Cli\u003EOpen a small jump ring (#3). Attach it to the end of the 2.75\" chain you added in the 1st step and the 0.75\" chain you added in the previous step. Cut \u0026 add to the jump ring chain measuring 0.75\". Close the jump ring.\n\u003Cli\u003EOpen a small jump ring (#4). Attach it to the end of the middle 3\" chain you added in the 1st step and the 0.75\" chain you added in the previous step. Cut \u0026 add to the jump ring chain measuring 0.75\". Close the jump ring.\n\u003Cli\u003EOpen a small jump ring (#5). Attach it to the end of the 3.5\" chain you added in the 1st step and the 0.75\" chain you added in the previous step. Cut \u0026 add to the jump ring chain measuring 0.75\". Close the jump ring.\n\u003Cli\u003EOpen a large jump ring (#6). Attach it to the end of the 4\" chain you added in the 1st step. Cut a length of chain measuring 2.75\" and add BOTH ends of the chain to the jump ring (this will form the ring for your finger). Add to the jump ring the 0.75\" chain you added in the previous step. Close the jump ring.\n\u003Cli\u003EAdd the clasp to the end of on of the 1.5\" pieces. Attach a few large jump rings together to for an extender and attach it to the end of the other 1.5\" piece. \n\u003Cli\u003ETry on your hand bracelet. I have small wrists I needed to take about an inch off of the sides to fit me. If your hands are bigger and longer and want to increase the length of the bracelet from finger to wrist, reduce the length of the 3\" chain that is at the base of the bracelet, and add length to the side pieces. If you're making this for someone else, I recommend adding at least 1\" of extender chain.
