There were other varieties of these filled morsels, but this one won my heart. Now if only it could be dark chocolate. To keep with these proportions, I reserved a heaping 1\/4 cup for \u003Cstrike\u003Elater use\u003C\/strike\u003E snacking.\u003C\/i\u003E\u003C\/center\u003E\n\u003Cbr\u003E\n\u003Cli\u003EAdd the Peanut Butter Filled Morsels layer. Press down gently with spoon.\n\u003Cli\u003EAdd the brown sugar layer and press down firmly.\n\u003Cli\u003EAdd the granulated sugar layer and press down firmly.\n\u003C\/ol\u003E\n\u003Cbr\u003E\nYou will need to include the following instructions:\n\u003Cbr\u003E\u003Cbr\u003E\nPREHEAT oven to 375° F. Beat 3\/4 cup (1 1\/2 sticks) softened butter or margarine, 1 large egg and 3\/4 teaspoon vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until blended. I had every intention of making it too. However, when I looked back at the photos I took, they were pretty terrible. I had forgotten a lot of steps and the lighting was bad. I've gotten a *bit* better in that past seven months, so here you go! This tutorial is for the advanced beginner or intermediate seamstress. It's not exactly a quick project, but I think they make a great gift. I made several pairs of these as gifts last year for Christmas and they went over pretty well. I love how you can just use scrap fabric or fat quarters and make each pair unique. I've upgraded them this year too. I bought a fat quarter bundle and choose 3 of the fat quarters to make these pot holders. One I used to make bias tape and the other two I used to cut pieces for the potholders. Clip, pin, or baste the pieces together to minimize shifting. I clipped the edges and used pins in the middle. Mark lines at a 45 degree angle about 1\" apart.  If you have a quilting guide you can use that instead. Fold in half lengthwise and edgestitch closed. Create a loop and align the raw edges to the top of the potholder. Fold and iron the twill tape in half. I have an alphabet set of letter stamps (you can find these in the scrapbook sections of craft stores). I use the letter 'N' for Nicole and Notion. I use regular stamp ink since the potholders won't be washed much. If you have fabric ink, then you can use that too. Stamp the letter of your choice close to the folded edge and let dry completely. Lay a piece of scrap fabric on top of the tag, and iron the tags. This will set the ink. Fold the end down at a 45 degree angle as shown. This helps create clean finish. Sew into place along fold line. Shorten your stitch length to help sew around the curves. Here's where I might lose you. I don't finish the bias tape by machine. Yup, I hand sew the bias tape into place. I think this is the neatest way to do it and I like the clean look of not seeing the stitches. I think what turned me off for awhile was making all that ruffle. However, I picked up a remnant last fall from the fabric store that just screamed \"apron\" to me. In the spirit of giving, I decided to turn it into a Christmas present. I dedicated a whole afternoon to just making the ruffle. It was a lot of work, but I love how it turned out (and so did the recipient!) so I think it was worth it.\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"\u003E\nI was left with extra ruffle, but not quite enough to make a whole 'nother\napron. As cute as the original had been, I just didn't want to spend the\ntime consuming process of making more ruffle. Still, I really wanted to sew a cute\napron for myself. \u003Ca name='more'\u003E\u003C\/a\u003EAt home I'm usually dressed \u003Ci\u003Every\u003C\/i\u003E\ncasually.\u0026nbsp;Putting on an apron is an easy way to feel a bit more put together. I have one apron that I use \u003Ci\u003Ea lot\u003C\/i\u003E, and it shows, so I wanted another one that was a bit cuter and a bit less stained.\u0026nbsp;But there's\none thing that is a must when making an apron for myself—pockets!\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"\u003E\nFor this apron, I\nomitted the ruffle along the bib and the skirt (because I didn't have enough). Instead, I used cut a\nlining for the bib to finish the edges and cut the skirt in a\nrectangle shape for easier hemming. I still liked the look of the\nrounded skirt, so I decided to make a rounded pocket, using the\nruffle along the edges. It's like my apron\nhas a little apron!\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"\u003E\nFinally, it may\nhave been the way I drafted the pattern top, or more likely my not-so-well endowed chest, but it gaped. Not too flattering. So I sewed a bit of\nelastic on the top of the bib for a better fit. I love how cute\nthis turned out. Almost too cute to dirty it up in the kitchen.\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv style=\"margin-bottom: 0in;\"\u003E\nI even made matching little finger potholders.
