Easter is coming up soon, so what better way to dress up for the occasion than with some adorable bunny ears. I actually made these ears for an Ariana Grande concert, but I definitely plan on re-using them for Easter as well.
The ears are quick and easy to make--I made 5 pairs in a couple hours. The hardest part might be finding the supplies to make it. The wire should be easily found at any craft store. I found the rhinestone chain at Michael's, however, it was in the clearance section (which was a win for me, but it means it might be harder to find there now). I ended up buying the headbands from the clearance rack at Claire's. They had yarn wrapped around them, but I managed to unwrap the yarn fairly easily.
Materials Needed
** I used Amazing GOOP Craft glue. You want a glue that is tacky so that the rhinestones can stay in place while the glue dries.

Step 1
Cut 2 pieces of wire to be 9". You can make it longer or shorter if you want bigger or smaller ears. My ears are about 3.5" tall.
Step 2
Round the ends of your wire into a circle shape.
Gently bend the wires into an ear shape. To do this, bring the two ends together in one hand, and use a finger from your other hand to pull the wire to bend it in half. Shape to look like rabbit ears.
Step 3
Bend one end of the wire down towards you, leaving enough space to fit around the headband. Bend the other down away from you. You want the ends to be facing in opposite directions.
Step 4
Place a rounded end on the top of the headband and hold it in place using your fingers or a pair of pliers. Wrap the wire first underneath the headband, then up at a 90-degree angle.
Step 5
Repeat with the other end of wire, wrapping it in the opposite direction. This will help the ears stay up on their own. Repeat step 4 & 5 with the other ear.
Step 6
Begin gluing the rhinestone to the wire in small sections. I found it easiest to put a bit of glue on the wire, then place the rhinestone chain on top of the glue. Once you get close to the end, cut off any excess rhinestone chain length with wire cutters and finishing gluing. Let the glue dry (I let my glue dry overnight).
Step 7
Adjust the ears to the placement you want them. They should be able to stay in place on their own. However, you can add a bit glue to the base of the ears help them stay put.
Step 8
If desired, add small strips of sticky-back felt to cover the ends of the headband to help make it a bit more comfortable to wear.
